Hi, I really like the colours and textures in this image. How did you make it? The marriage of text and imagery in this drawing is very pleasing. The style of this drawing reminds me a lot of Arthur Rackham. Was this your intention, considering the Victorian era you are depicting? Anyway, great job, I like this a lot!
Thank you so very much, I'm glad you like it! I sketched the character and then scanned it in to add texture and rough colouring in Photoshop. I've actually never heard of Arthur Rackham, but after googling him I am certainly a fan!
I'm so terribly sorry for replying so late! >.< Yes you may! I don't mind people using my work so long as they give proper credit and never claim it as their own and if possible share and show afterwards!
I am reading it now! OH MY GOODNESS! I think this may easily become my favorite book. That is a pretty strong statement from someone who has been a voracious reader for thirty years. This is a fabulous depiction of Celia!
i know what you mean! this book is so enchanting; i'm currently working on my own piece of fanart for it! xD it's going to take so long, though, and i know i should really be studying! XD this; this is magnificent, and i'm glad i took the time to type in 'the night circus' into the search bar! ^^ this is beautiful!
